Gaming Event: Come in and Play!

2016 Gaming Day September 28th, 1pm-4pm
Come and play! This is a nice time to learn about new games. Feel free to bring your own favorites. Here’s a list of games that we’ll have on hand:

Ticket to Ride

A cross country  train adventure in which players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes connecting cities throughout North America.

Carcassone

A tile-laying game set in the southern French city of Carcassonne which is famous for its unique Roman and Medieval fortifications. Players develop the area around Carcassonne and deploy their followers on the roads, in the cities, in the cloisters, and in the fields. The skill of the players to develop the area will determine who is victorious.

The Settlers of Catan

An award-winning strategy game where players collect resources and use them to build roads, settlements and cities on their way to victory.This game can take a while to play, so limited spots are available.

Tsuro – The Game of the Path

Place a tile and slide your stone along the path created, but take care! Other players’ paths can lead you in the wrong direction—or off the board entirely!

Blokus

A strategy board game that challenges spatial thinking. The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. Easy to learn, but challenging to play.

Hey, That’s My Fish

At the pole your penguins are jumping from ice floe to ice floe hunting fish. They’re also trying to block other penguins and secure the best fishing grounds for themselves. The penguin colony that catches the most fish by the end of the game wins.
