Missing Illinois’ Lost Wetlands

The Illinois Sierra Club put up this post, Missing Illinois’ Lost Wetlands, in regard to the recent rains. They note that Illinois has lost 90% of its original wetlands. They’d be storing 8.5 trillion gallons of rainwater right now if we still had them.
