The library is happy to announce a new podcast called Check It Out. This podcast will highlight resouces in the library.

The library has added maps to area services that will help students. Here’s the list of maps:

• Public libraries
• MVCC remote sites
• College and universities
• Copy centers

This year’s One Book, One College program will feature Alex Haley’s The Autobiography of Malcolm X. The following events will be held in the Moraine Valley Library during the fall semester. The Library staff is very happy to announce a newly redesigned homepage and service upgrade for our Public Access Catalog.

This redesign includes

• the ability to login to view your library account
• a more user-friendly Advanced Search Interface
• the ability to save records as you search
• more flexibility in sorting results screens
• a more user-friendly results screens
• links to library maps on item records
• unique Web addresses for each item

Moraine Valley students, staff, and faculty can now login to your account to view your checked out items or interlibrary loan requests.

During semester break, the library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Regular hours resume the first day of Fall Semester, August 20th at 7:30 a.m.
