Monday, October 29th, 2007

In a surprise move, “Disney” has moved past Pirate Potatohead for the lead of the 6th annual library pumpkin contest.

After a Tough Weekend, Pirate Potatohead Holds the Lead!

Monday, October 29th, 2007

It was a rough and tumble weekend for the participants in the 6th annual library pumpkin contest. Pirate Potatohead is slowly pulling away and may not be caught! View the current standings to keep track of your favorite pumpkin.

Remember, this is “Chicago-style” voting.  You can buy votes for $.25 each.  Buy as many as you’d like.  This has less to do with the inherent value of any particular pumpkin than it is about your desire to steel this election.  Dust off that wallet and get into the library! All proceeds go to student scholarships.

Pirate Potatohead Takes the Lead

Friday, October 26th, 2007

It’s like reality TV in the library reference section. Pirate Potatohead takes the lead, but Charlotte’s Web is close behind.

Who will win? Who will be voted off of the island? Keep track on the Pumpkin Contest 2007 Standings page!
