The library held our annual Faculty & Staff Authors display last week. We were excited to host and recognize this talented group of individuals. The library also dedicated two new pieces of artwork that will permanently be part of the library’s collection.

We also are happy to display Mary Ellen Ponsford’s work, which now hangs in one of the library’s study rooms. Ms. Ponsford is a retired faculty member. This work is a painting of retired physics instructor Fen Taylor.

The library was very happy to host the Psychology Department’s panel discussion on Mental Health and Campus Violence. It was a great event with a great crowd. The panel members discussed the events at Northern Illinois University, the preparedness plans at Moraine Valley, the counseling department here at Moraine Valley, and general issues related to mental health.
