The Moraine Valley Library is very excited to announce that we won the 2009 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries.  According to ACRL, we won for “creating an environment that fosters numerous relationships with partners outside those traditionally associated with libraries.”  Read our nomination narrative and learn about the award.  Congratulations to everyone in the library!

Close to 200 students, faculty, and staff came into the library to watch the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the US today.Faculty members Shelita Shaw and Merri Fefles enjoy the historic event.
