From 12:01 to 12:30 a.m. Thursday the primary Internet provider will perform maintenance on its equipment that will cause us to move to our backup connection. You may experience slower than normal connectivity during this time period.
Bb was off-line August 5-7 in order to perform some needed preventative maintenance and software updates to the environment. In addition to applying a needed hot fix and an upgrade to Java, we were able to bring the system down and make some configuration changes to strengthen the fail-over capabilities of the application servers.

The campus experienced a loss of commercial power this morning just before 8:00 am. As a result, both Blackboard systems (version 6.3 and version 8) as well as our primary internet web server were brought down.
